Jeffrey Gutcheon was a fabric designer and author at the center of the American quilt revival of the 1970s and 1980s. Through his J. Gutcheon label and the American Classic Line, he produced printed quilting fabrics distinguished by sophisticated colorwork and careful scale — fabrics designed with a deep understanding of how pattern and proportion behave in pieced work. His writing and design work helped raise the aesthetic bar for American quilt fabrics during a period of renewed national interest in the craft.

This bag is reversible, offering two distinct faces: one side in solid teal vintage fine-wale corduroy, the other in an authentic vintage print from J. Gutcheon's American Classic Line. Wear it either way depending on the day.

Handmade using repurposed fabric, this bag is fully lined for daily use.
